Exolab - Lab for the Study of ExoplanetsUsing a telescope that is controlled online, students take images of distant stars from among the two thousand already known to have planets. They interpret the data they gather looking for an exoplanet transiting a stars, and if they detect one, describe the alien world's characteristics (how big it is, how close it is to its star, and how much its orbit is tilted).
